Allan Clarke Bsc (H) MIACP
I hold a Honours Degree (BSc H) in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Middlesex, London; a Diploma from PCI College and a Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness.
I am also currently completing a Masters (MSc) in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy.
I have also completed extensive further training related to the psychotherapy field. Most recently I have completed The Science of Happiness course, the first of its kind, through the University of California, Berkeley.
I have been a mindfulness practitioner for a number of years, maintaining a daily practice, I also teach group and one to one classes in Meditation & Mindfulness. I am a fully accredited member of the IACP (Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and adhere to their Code of Ethics & Practice. I also undertake additional further training every year as is required as part of IACP’s Continuing Professional Development framework.
I believe no two clients are the same, and thus as a counsellor I utilise an integrative approach, which is how I believe I can be of the most assistance. My 2 main approaches are:
